Interview with Chinese diver Wang Zongyuan

Paris Olympics are around the corner! Focus Film China, one of the leading video production companies in China, had the honor to be trusted by both Chinese Swimming Association and OBS for the interview shooting with Wang Zongyuan, one of the most famous Chinese athletes.

Wang Zongyuan is a five-time world champion who also clinched Olympic gold and silver at Tokyo 2020 for the People's Republic of China.

In May 2024, Focus Film China went to China General Administration of Sports and did the interview with Wang Zongyuan and his coach Nie Yudi about their expectations for the upcoming Olympics in Paris.

More about WANG Zongyuan:

WANG Zongyuan was born in 2001 and raised in Xiangyang, a city in Hubei Province – which is located on a major tributary of the Yangtze River, the Han. With his parents' guidance, Wang spent his early years playing in the Han from when he was three years old – perhaps explaining his love for the water.

WANG Zongyuan competed in the 2019 World Aquatics Championships and won gold in the 1 metre springboard. He also competed at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympicsand won gold in the Men's 3m synchro event and the silver in the 3m springboard.

At the age of 22, WANG Zongyuan has already collected 33 medals internationally, including 29 gold medals. He is one of the top divers in the world and expected to achieve great results in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
